From the Desk of the Grand Knight
We are beginning a new year and again we are asking for your help to make
this Council a success. Further in this newsletter you will see a listing of events for
the year to come. In order for this Council to be a success we need your help. If you can
not physically help at these events please attend them in order for us to reach the
financial goals we need to run this Council
We are planning a Dinner meeting in March, details later in this publication. At that
meeting there will be financial presentations by the Treasurers of the Council and the
Building Association. We think it is important to have these presentations, since they
will stop the rumors around of how profitable we are.
For those of you that have not heard, Father Timothy Valliere, our pastor at All Saints
Parish and Chaplain of the Council for the past fourteen years, has been transferred to
Saint Bernards Parish in Vernon, CT. We would all like to extend our gratitude to
Father Valliere for his help over the years and wish him the best of luck.
The Reverend David Choquette has been appointed Administrator of All Saints Parish, and
after a year will be named Pastor. Father David, who has been a Knight since 1990 and in
December, 2004 received his fourth degree, has agreed to be our Chaplain. I would like to
extend our gratitude to him, in advance, for the help and wisdom he will provide this
Council.
Since our last newsletter, we have had twelve new members join us at Council Number 4303.
Please join me in welcoming the following new members into the Council. William Van
Kleeck, Kevin Schuhlen, Christopher DAmato, James Russell, George Love, Allen Zito,
Timothy Lessard, David Wiesse, Stephen Moore, Karl Anderson, Ken Chickosky, and Thomas
Mazzoli.
We have also had four brothers who have gone to their rest since August, 2003. They were
Thomas Whiteley 10/20/03, Francis T Cormier 12/7/03, PGK John Petkis 8/2/04, PGK Charles
A. Courville Jr. 8/8/04. Please remember these Brothers and our departed Brothers in your
prayers

Building Association News
The Building Association has completed a busy yet successful 2004 and is well underway
to a equally lively 2005 under the direction of Building Association President John
Pellegrino. John follows Tom Coleman as President. Tom had an impressive two year stint in
this office. We also thank and salute Permittee/Manager Gary March for his commitment in
running the day to day operations of the club.
Highlights from 2004 include:
In 2005 we expect to again conduct these functions at a minimum and with your help and
participation perhaps even more.
In spite of our sincere efforts to maintain and update club facilities there are several
major capital investments which must be addressed in the near future. The most immediate
and pressing items include the installation of a new roof, overhaul of the kitchen
ventilation system and substantial repairs to the parking lot.
If anyone has any ideas for fund raisers that we may run to get the funds to pay for the
above repairs, let us know. Also we are thinking of having ethnic events, other than
Polish Night. If anyone has any ideas or wishes to volunteer for these functions please
let us know by dropping us a note or calling the club at 763-0199. Polish night has good
coverage with Steve Krasinski, Dick Lech, Bud Hapin and Jim Persano.
